Sara Morris Greene (1877-1919) Peasant head Bronze with brown patina Signed "SARA GREENE" and dated "1910". Bears a "CIRE PERDUE" founder's stamp. H. 17 cm Sara Greene, a pupil of Rodin and Bourdelle, exhibited in the Paris salons around 1910. On her return to the United States, she set up her studio in Greenwich Village, where, like her master Bourdelle, she welcomed professional and amateur students until her death in 1919.
