Missing the blank page between the end of the 18th letter and the Advis de messieurs les curez de Paris. - 12 ff. n. ch., 398, 111 pp. - First edition of the Provinciales after their publication in separate letters. Very elegant Elzévirienne edition, the first in in-12 format with continuous pagination. First edition copy with the words "moines mandiants" in the first line of page 3, which will be corrected to "religieux mendiants" in the second edition, and the eighteenth letter forming a separate part, with a blank page separating it from the seventeenth letter.
