H. 15 cm, terrace 23 x 11.3 cm Related literature -Michel Poletti, Alain Richarme, Pierre-Jules Mêne, catalog raisonné, Paris, Univers du Bronze, 2007, model listed under n°CHI 54, p. 129 For this group, Pierre-Jules Mêne combined the Greyhound with Fan and the King Charles Dog. The bronze edition of this model, a counterpart to the Groupe de deux levrettes jouant à la boule, was initiated by the sculptor after 1846, then by the Mêne-Cain workshop from 1879 until 1908, when production was taken over by Susse.
