Italian painter, illustrator and poster artist, he excelled in Art Nouveau illustration as well as in the Art Deco period. -Carmen followed by La course aux taureaux. Compositions in colors of Edouard Chimot. Paris, Deux-Rives, 1952. In-8, 164 pp. + [2] ff, with 15 lithographs in color (including the one on the cover); a business card with a handwritten note from Edouard Chimot's widow is enclosed.
