Alfred Pina (1883-1966) Torso of a man Bronze with reddish brown patina Signed "A Pina" and stamped "A. VALSUANI CIRE PERDUE" below the right thigh H. Total 52.5 cm, with marble base H. 12 cm The Milanese sculptor trained at the Brera Academy where he was awarded the grand prize for sculpture, before moving to Paris in 1911. He made his debut at the Salon in 1912. Some sources state that he collaborated with Rodin.
