Henri Wacquier (1907- ?) Fennec Terracotta Signed " H Waquier " on the front of the terrace H. 21,5 cm, terrace 29,5 x 15,5 cm Henri Wacquier studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. He worked as a practitioner for various sculptors and was particularly interested in stone and wood sculpture. He met François Pompon at the Museum of Natural History in 1937. He exhibited his animal sculpture in various salons, created the School of Fine Arts in Casablanca and ended his career as curator of the Museum of Fine Arts in Saint-Denis de La Réunion.
