Robert WLÉRICK (1882-1944) Monument to Marshal Foch, sketch, 2nd state, ca. 1936 Workshop plaster. Unsigned. 44 x 38 x 13 cm Provenance: Artist's studio; by descent. This work was realized in collaboration with the sculptor Raymond Martin (1910-1992). The two sculptors are, with this sculpture, the winners of a competition for a monument honoring Marshal Foch. The statue is erected on the Place du Trocadero.
