Maurice Gensoli (1892-1972) Balinese dancer Polychrome sandstone Signed " maurice Gensoli ", bears the artist's stamp and numbered " 4/20 ". H. 31 cm Trained in the technique of stained glass, Maurice Gensoli became a decorator and artist at the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres after meeting the director Georges le Chevalier-Chevignard in 1921. Until 1958 he directed the decoration workshop and worked with painters, decorators and sculptors such as Jean Dufy, Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann and the Martel brothers.
