François MEHEUT (1905-1981) The return of the fisherman Bronze with brown patina. Signed François MEHEUT on the terrace. Bears the mark of the founder Susse Frs EDts Paris and two BRONZE stamps. H. 34 cm x (terrace 28,5 x 15 cm) Born in Saint-Brieuc, Méheut studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Rennes before entering the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris where he was taught by Jean Boucher. He was awarded the second Grand Prix de Rome in 1930.
