Émile-Coriolan Hippolyte GUILLEMIN (1841-1907) Bust of an Algerian woman Bronze with light brown, dark brown and red patinas. Signed E Guillemin on the back. H. 39 cm dt cherry red marble pedestal H. 9 cm Son of Emile Marie Auguste Guillemin, sculptor and pupil of David d'Angers, Hyppolite was a pupil of his father. He exhibited at the Salon des artistes français from 1870.
