S-138-00a The standing man is executed at a time when Marcel Damboise is particularly close to the architects André Vieilhescaze and Jean-Paul Guion. The latter, son of Paul Guion, architect of the Museum of Fine Arts in Algiers, took over his father's architectural agency with his brother-in-law André Vieilhescaze. The two associates are at the origin of the commission to Marcel Damboise of the bas-relief Les Loisirs for the educational centre. from El-Riath to Burma.
