Porcelain dish with polychrome decoration of coats of arms surrounded by insects on the basin, and of flowers on the rim. Lack of material and cracks (shocks) under the base. China for the Compagnie des Indes, 18th century. D. 38 cm The dish is emblazoned with the coat of arms of the Vignerot du Plessis de Richelieu family, originally from Poitou. The coat of arms is described as ''argent, three chevrons gules, surmounted by a label gules. Support: two eagles displayed; orders of knighthood: knight of Saint Michael and the Holy Spirit. Coat of arms of a French peer" (Antoine Lebel, French and Swiss coats of arms on Chinese porcelain in the 18th century). Period : Qianlong, around 1760. Service ordered by Emmanuel-Armand de Vignerot du Plessis de Richelieu (Paris, 1720-1788). He successively bore the titles of count, then duke of Agenois and finally in 1750 of duke of Aiguillon. Two plates with scalloped edges, in enamelled porcelain, the basin decorated with flowers, the marli and the lip decorated with wolves. Small chips on the border.
