Attributed to Samson WERTHEIMER (1811-1892) - A copper desk set, decorated with veined agate cabochons, consisting of a pencil case, an inkwell and a document holder. 150/200 Samson Wertheimer, art dealer in England at the end of the 19th century, made objects in bronze and hard stones (in particular cut in cabochons) presented at the Universal Exhibition in London (1851 and 1862). He presents himself as a creator inspired by his trade in antiques. Recognized, he supplied the court of Queen Victoria.
